Two short words are useful in every visit. 감사합니다 (gam-sa-ham-ni-da) means "thank you." 잠시만요 (jam-si-man-yo) means "just a moment," which is helpful while you look for a document or phrase on your phone. If you do not understand, you can say 잘 모르겠어요 (jal mo-reu-ge-sseo-yo), meaning "I do not understand well."
